Remote Meter Reading

No more reading your meter or figuring out your bill!

No more late charges!

Burt County PPD is pleased to offer automatic meter reading to our customers. The automatic meter is a special meter applied to your service which communicates with a computer at midnight at the end of each month. You will continue to receive a bill statement from Burt County PPD showing the amount of usage and the total amount you are charged for each month. A copy of the statement is returned with your payment.

Credit Card Payment

Credit card payment gives our customers the option of paying their electric bill by credit card. We honor several of the popular credit cards available. For more information please contact the District office at (402) 374-2631.

Budget Payment

Budget payment is a program where an average montly bill is determined by using the history acquired from your service. This service can only be used if we read the meter remotely or a meter reading is obtained by our office. For more information pleae contact the District office at (402) 374-2631.

Automatic Bill Payment

Automatic bill payment allows Burt County PPD pay your electric bill for you. You don't have to figure your electric bill or get it sent in on a deadline. Currently any meter that is read remotely or by a Burt County RPPD meter reader may qualify for automatic withdrawal.

Automatic bill payment is a program that automatically makes your montly electric bill payment.

  • You'll never need to write out another check to pay your monthly bill.
  • You'll have assurance of knowing that your bills will be paid on time.
  • You'll never forget to pay your electric bill because your bill will be paid automatically.
  • You can rest easy because it's actually safer than checks.

You will still receive a bill statement from Burt County PPD that shows the amount of usage and total amount you are charged for the service each month. This statement will also indicate the date the payment will be deducted from your bank account each month. For more information contact the District office at (402) 374-2631.

The customer is in full control of automatic withdrawal. If at any time you decide to discontinue the service, you need to contact Burt County PPD. The information received from your bank will only be used for the purpose of automatic withdrawal.
