Rural Electric Nebraskan Magazine

The Rural Electric Nebraskan Magazine is an informational publication for Burt County PPD customers. Burt County PPD inserts a monthly newsletter in the publication. It informs the consumer of changes going on within the District concerning policies, rates, construction, safety, and other items of interest. Watch your mailbox for your regular issue.

Safety Classes

We are continually working on consumer awareness. We mail out monthly copies of the Rural Electric Nebraskan to all of our customers. We also offer safety classes to all schools in our service area. The District is active in safety camps and offer safety demonstrations for any interested groups. For more information contact the District office at (402) 374-2631.

Youth Energy Camp

Youth are sponsored by the District for the Nebraska Youth Energy Camp held at the state 4-H camp near Halsey, Nebraska, each year in July. Contact Denny Weatherly at the District office at (402) 374-2631.
